The history of Aarslev Polymere Industri A/S dates back more than 135 years to when the carpenter R. Nielsen founded his woodwork factory in 1878.
Until the middle of the 20th century the production was based on wood – from lolly sticks to wooden toys and to wooden shoe heels.
In the 1950´s, as the spread of synthetic materials increased, the production switched over to plastic shoe components.
Still moving forward
Always seeking perfection
Since 1970 Aarslev has developed an expert know how within the outsoles and splits processing technology.
The outsole production is based on polyurethane.
Today
Today Aarslev is based centrally in Denmark, close to international shipping facilities. And with production facilities in Slovakia, EU.
Our wide range of customers are placed all over the world.
